Defense is one of the most neglected positions in hockey. Former Boston Bruin Bob Beers has designed a camp specifically tailored to the needs of young defensemen. Last year's camp was extremely productive, teaching all the essentials of the position as well as key techniques and strategies to make each player as productive as possible.
The on-ice director of the Superskills Defense Camps is Bob Beers. Bob played as a defenseman in the NHL for eight seasons with the Boston Bruins, Edmonton Oilers, N.Y Islanders and Tampa Bay Lightning. Bob watches his fair share of hockey games as he is currently the color analyst for Bruins Games heard on WBZ radio.
The H.S Defense Clinic on July 21 - 25 is a 1 1/2 hour, on-ice only clinic for High School Players. Time: 1:40 pm to 3:10 pm.
