The Super Camp at St. Anselm College -Boys '96-'91

For the fifth summer Superskills is conducting a weeklong stay over camp at St. Anselm College in Manchester N.H. The camp will feature three hours of on-ice training daily as well as off ice training and group activities. The on-ice program will consist of a combination of our Total Skills, Powerskating and Team Concept Camps and off-ice players will be participating in speed, quickness and agility training geared at improving athletic performance. The beautiful campus of St Anselm College provides a premier hockey rink and training environment. The dorms, cafeteria, fields and rink are all within 100 yards of each other. The camp is divided into two groups. (Boys Peewee and Bantam Ages 96, 95, & 94) and (Boys High School Ages 93,92 & 91). Last years campers had a phenomenal time and this summer's camp promises to be another exceptional hockey experience.
The Super Camp at St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH begins Sunday, July 13th and ends Friday, July 18th.
Check-in will be at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday at the rink and your group will be on the ice in the afternoon with Mario Martiniello to get things started. There will be two players per dorm room and feel free to request a teammate. There is no air conditioning in the dorms so you may want to bring a fan just in case we hit a hot week. Meals for the week are provided at the cafeteria located 100 yards from the dorms.
Things to bring list
· Hockey Equipment. (Check your bag twice!)
· Hockey Sticks. (You will want to be prepared if a stick breaks)
· Running shoes, sneakers and shorts. (For off-ice training activities)
· Tape and skate laces just in case.
· Street hockey stick (roller blades will not be necessary).
· Clothes for the week.
· Plenty of athletic socks, underwear and t-shirts (lots of sweating to be done!).
· A towel as well as toiletries.
· Linens, blanket and a pillow.
· Sweat suit or comfortable casual clothes.
· Sweatshirt for if it is cool and a rain jacket…just in case.
· Running shoes and a Baseball glove.
· A fan for your room if it is a hot week.
· Please bring a great attitude and respect your instructors and fellow campers.
· A commitment to having fun and improving at the same time.
· An appreciation for the great facilities provided by St. Anselm.
· A sense of pride and responsibility.
Things to Know
1. No camper is allowed to leave his group at any time. When going to meals, over to the rink or to the fields, everyone moves as a group with their councilor.
2. No camper may set foot off campus during the week without a parent making proper arrangements ahead of time for a special circumstance.
3. Your equipment will stay in the locker room for the entire length of the camp so there is no need to bring it back and forth to the dorm.
4. There are laundry machines at the dorm but most campers bring enough clothing for the week.
5. Each camper will receive a code for his or her room lock. In case it is forgotten the group's councilor or camp director will have a list of codes.
6. There are no public phones in the dorms. Some campers will bring a cell phone and the groups councilor will have a phone at all times in case of emergency.
7. Skate sharpening is available at the rink.
8. All players receive a Superskills camp jersey.

St. Anselm College
This summer Superskills is combining three great programs for a weeklong stay over camp at St. Anselm College in Manchester N.H. The camp will feature a combination of the Superskills Powerskating, Superskills Total Skills and the Superskills Team Concept Camp packed into each day. The beautiful campus of St Anselm College now boasts a brand new premier hockey rink and the dorms, cafeteria, fields and rink are all within 100 yards of each other. This week promises to be an exceptional hockey experience.
Saint Anselm is located on a hilltop overlooking Manchester, N.H., within an hour of the seacoast, Boston, the White Mountains, and New Hampshire's Lakes Region.
Thomas F. Sullivan Arena serves as the new home for Saint Anselm ice hockey. The new facility provides a maximum of 1,700 seats for hockey and 2,700 seats for other non-ice events.
The South Athletics Fields serve as a true jack-of-all-trades complex for Saint Anselm Athletics. Constructed in 1990, the complex spans a total of 20 acres and incorporates five well manicured and irrigated fields providing a permanent home for Saint Anselm's men's and women's soccer, men's lacrosse, women's softball, and women's lacrosse. The fields also offer a wide range of practice space for all outdoor sports. On the westernmost side of the complex is a lighted practice field, which serves the College's athletic programs in a variety of ways.
Grappone Stadium is the centerpiece of the revival of football at Saint Anselm. Built in 1999, the stadium is named in honor of John and Ruth Grappone of Concord, N.H., and seats a capacity crowd of 4,500, including 2,500 in the stadium's grandstand seats. Stoutenburgh Gymnasium is also utilized for the College's extensive intramural program during the winter and spring seasons, is host to a number of summer athletic camps, and is used for College social events.
he Carr Center features three regulation size basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts; three regulation racquetball courts; a weight room/training facility; and is home to the College's athletics administrative offices. The widely used Carr Center allows for a number of different activities at once.
