Every summer NHL and college prospects from across North America come to Superskills (GCG) Prospects Camp to train with other outstanding goaltenders. This camp is arguably the best goalie camp in North America and is held at St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH. Goalies receive instruction from leading Canadian and American goalie coaches; the camp has featured guests such as John Vanbiesbrouck, Kelly Hrudey, Darren Pang, Keith Allain and current pro players such as Phoenix Coyote Brian Boucher. Atlanta Thrasher Mike Dunham, New Jersey Devil Scott Clemmensen and Boston Bruin Andrew Raycroft. Acceptance to this camp is required.
The Superskills (GCG) Prospects camp was started in the year 2000 with the goal of developing NHL goaltenders. In all, this camp has helped develop 20 NHL draft picks and goalies have attended 25 different major universities and colleges from Boston College to the University of Minnesota. 7 Prospect Camp goaltenders have played in the NHL, with many more knocking at the door. At the camp, the goalies learn not only from an array of experienced coaches and guest speakers, but also from the other goaltenders themselves. Prospects Camp Format
The Camp, conducted at St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, begins with the opening address on Sunday, July 22nd and ends Friday July 27th. Each day includes two hours of instruction on the ice, two hours of off-ice training, as well as the daily lecture and group activity. The on- and off-ice segments are demanding and competitive and arriving at the camp in shape will insure maximum benefits. The dorms, cafeteria and hockey rink are all within 100 yards of each other and camp participants are supervised 100% of the time. The meals at the cafeteria are outstanding and appropriate for elite level athletes.

If a you qualify and a spot is availablecan you may sign up online at www.superskillshockey.com. The cost of the camp is $925 U.S. A $200 deposit will be charged to the card when we receive your application and the balance will be charged on the first day of the camp. You will receive a confirmation letter and itinerary for the camp. The camp tuition will include three meals a day as well as lodging in the dorm and all training activities. Hockey laundry will be done daily and players are responsible for bringing their own pillow and linen for the dorm room (a fan is also recommended). GCG Consultant: Brian Daccord
GCG District: New England, USA
Brian Daccord is a former goaltending coach of the Boston Bruins where He was on the staff of Stanley Cup winning coaches Pat Burns and Mike Keenan as well as Robbie Ftorek. Brian's book Hockey Goaltending has sold over 27,000 copies worldwide and he was featured in the Hockey News as one of the NHL's top goalie coaches with "crease clout". He has worked with over 30 professional goalies over the past ten years including Andrew Raycroft (Toronto Maple Leafs), Brian Boucher (Chicago Blackhawks) and Scott Clemmensen (New Jersey Devils) and has developed numerous NHL draft picks. His current clients include top NHL, AHL, ECHL, College and Junior goalies. Brian operates Superskills Goaltending, which conducts goalie camps and clinics, as well as private training sessions for youth and elite goaltenders. Brian is also a former coach and player at Merrimack College (NCAA Div.I Hockey east) and played seven seasons of pro hockey in Switzerland. He has coached at every level of youth hockey as well as US Prep School, Junior, College and Pro, is a Masters Level Coach with USA Hockey, and holds a Masters Degree in Sports Science.
GCG Consultant: Robb Stauber
GCG District: Minnesota, USA
Robb Stauber was a Minnesota High School All-State goalkeeper at Duluth Denfeld H.S. He attended the University of Minnesota and in 1988 was the first goalie ever to win the Hobey Baker Award, given annually to the outstanding U.S. college hockey player. He was a college All-American, a WCHA MVP, and team MVP while playing for the Gophers. Robb was recently named one of the top 50 players in WCHA history. Robb played 10 years of professional hockey. He was a two time AHL All-Star and played in the 1993 Stanley Cup Finals with the LA Kings. He also played for the Buffalo Sabres, Washington Capitals, and New York Rangers. Robb is co-director of the Academy and the goalie coach for the Golden Gophers. In the last four years, Robb successfully developed the first training device exclusively for goalies. A training breakthrough, The patented Stauber Trainer is achieving positive results with serious goalies at every level of hockey.
GCG Consultant: John Carratu
GCG District: New England, USA
John Carratu is currently a goaltending director at Superskills Goaltending and trains NHL, Minor Pro and NCAA Division I goalies as well as goalies of all abilities at the youth level. In college, he led his NCAA Division II Plymouth State team to the ECAC playoffs while graduating with a degree in education. While entering the teaching profession in the Seattle area, John began his career as a goaltending consultant. While in Seattle, he was a member of the USA Hockey Pacific District selection process and coached goaltenders that played in the NAHL, BCJHL, and NCAA as well. A strength of John's is his knowledge of equipment and advising clients in the proper selection and purchasing options. He owned and operated his own hockey shop in the Seattle area, which catered primarily to goaltenders. Upon his return to New England John became an asst. coach with the Salem Ice Dogs in the IJHL and helped lead them to two playoff berths. He coached at numerous goaltending camps and clinics before bringing his knowledge and enthusiasm to Superskills Hockey. John has also served as a goaltending consultant ant to US Prep School power Cushing Academy and this season will serve as a consultant with Nobles and Greenough in the ISL.
GCG Consultant: Terry Barbeau
GCG District: Michigan, USA
Terry Barbeau is entering his fifth season as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds' goaltender coach in the Ontario Hockey League. Terry's ability to develop young goaltenders is well documented, having trained Buffalo Sabres standout Ryan Miller for the past tens years well as former Greyhound Adam Munro. Along with training several minor pro, junior and college goalies he is also the Head Instructor of the Czech Republic Hockey School in Ostrava. Prior to working with the Greyhounds, Terry was the goaltending coach for the men's hockey team at Lake Superior State University for three seasons. Locally, Terry is renowned for his work at summer goaltending camps.

GCG Consultant: Tom Dempsey
GCG District: Ottawa, Canada
Tom Dempsey is currently the goaltender coach of the Ottawa 67's in the Ontario Hockey League. He has trained several professional goaltenders including Robert Esche (Philadelphia Flyers), Marc-Andre Fleury (Pittsburgh Penguins), Pascal Leclaire (Columbus Blue Jackets) and Dominik Hasek (Detriot Redwings). Tom has coached goalies on a full-time basis at the junior A and Major Junior levels for the past 13 years and is considered one of the most experienced and respected goalie coaches in Canada. Tom also runs elite level camps and clinics for goaltenders as well as conducts private sessions in the Ottawa area.
GCG Consultant: Jamie McGuire
GCG District: Toronto, Canada
Jamie McGuire has been a professional goaltender instructor for the past 14 years. Jamie has trained goalies from youth hockey to the pros and operates McGuire Goaltending and Hockey Development in Ontario, Canada. His client list includes several NCAA goalies, Major Junior Goalies as well as a number of top ranked youth goaltenders. He currently serves as the goalie coach of the York University Lions (CIS) and the Telus Lightning (NWHL). A former draft pick of the London Knights (OHL), Jamie played four years of varsity hockey for the St. Mary's Huskies. Jamie won a world championship as head coach of Canadian National Amputee Hockey Team and is a Sport Specific Personal Trainer and Nutrition and Wellness Specialist.
GCG Consultant: John Alexander
GCG District: Atlantic Canada
John Alexander is the former goaltending coach for University of Moncton Blue Eagles and is currently in his fifth season as a goaltending consultant to the Amherst Junior A Ramblers. He has coached at the all Youth Hockey AAA levels winning both Atlantic and Provincial Championships. John holds an Intermediate Coaching Level with the Canadian National Coaches Certification Program, and lectures regularly at hockey Coaching Certification clinics. He has coached goaltenders for over 15 years and is the owner of Alexander Goaltending, which has operated camps and clinics in the area for the past 11 years. Among his current and past clients are some of the top names in youth and Junior hockey.
GCG Consultant: David Alexander
GCG District: Maritimes, Canada
David Alexander is currently a goaltender coach at St. Thomas University in New Brunswick, Canada and is a Head Director at Alexander Goaltending. He played three years in Ontario in the OPJAHL and won a provincial championship at the Midget AAA level. He has worked as a goaltending consultant to the NB Program of Excellence and is along with the Tommies coaches the Fredericton Canadians Midget AAA team. He has worked as an instructor with Alexander Goaltending for 7 years and his reputation of being one of the brightest young minds in the world of goaltending. David has worked with several Pro, Major Junior and NCAA Division I goaltenders and has a tremendous passion for the position.
