Since 1999 Superskills has been a leader and innovator in player development. Though our camps, clinics and leagues we are proud to have helped produce more high school, prep school and college players for the area than we could have ever imagined. We are proud of the success that players, which have participated in our programs, have had but we are equally as proud of our ability to assist all player, regardless of ability, to maximize their skills and enjoyment of hockey.
The Superskills Player Development System
Players that participate in our programs come to Superskills because of our ability to create a challenging yet fun environment. Our programs are designed to bring out the best in players and our staff is made up of current and former players who have a true passion for the game and relish the opportunity to pass on their knowledge and skill. Superskills player development program are designed for specific age and skill levels and we have the right program for everyone.
Superskills Player Development Programs
There are several ways to benefit from Superskills Player Development Programs.
1. We offer camps in the summer time and clinics throughout the year for players of all levels at three different locations.
2. Private lessons are offered in groups of six or on a one on one basis and these lessons are an excellent option for players wanting personal attention.
3. Superskills offers a spring and summer 3 on 3 league which is tremendous for skills development and a lot of fun as well as a traditional summer league.
Selecting a Summer Camp or Program.
Superskills Player Development provides camps and clinics for players of all levels and abilities. The following is a quick guide to selecting a camp.
Superskills Total Skills Camp: This camp is for Mite through Bantam players of all abilities. It features emphases on all skills including skating, passing and scoring. It is run Monday through Friday at either the Superskills Rink in Tewksbury or Phillips Andover Academy and includes a daily schedule of 2 hours of on ice training and two hours of off-ice speed, quickness and agility training.
NEW! Superskills Team Concept Camp: The Superskills Team Concept Camp is designed to teach players the fundamentals of hockey through small zone games. Mario Martiniello and his Superskills Hockey staff will look to
challenge each player’s hockey intelligence through a series of competitive situations. This 10-hour on ice camp will focus on controlled scrimmages as well as 1 on 1, 2 on 1, and 3 on 2 game situations. A portion of the10 hour off ice camp will incorporate classroom type instruction through the use of video analysis. The Superskills Team Concept Camp will give each player the knowledge and understanding of hockey to compete at the highest level of play.

Superskills Powerskating Camp: This camp is for Mite through Bantam players of all abilities. Players that are looking for the best instruction is skating power and speed love this camp. It is run Monday through Friday at the Superskills Rink in Tewksbury as well as Andover and includes a daily schedule of 2 hours of on ice training and two hours of off-ice speed, quickness and agility training.
*This is also a Powerskating Clinic for high school players as well.
Superskills Scoring and Stickhandling Camp: This camp is for Mite through Bantam players of all abilities. It features current pro and former UNH star Steve Saviano and is a tremendous benefit for players looking to improve their puckhandling and scoring techniques and players will see dramatic improvement in one week. It is run Monday through Friday at the Superskills Rink in Tewksbury and includes a daily schedule of 2 hours of on ice training and two hours of off-ice speed, quickness and agility training.
Superskills Defense Camp: This camp is for Mite through Bantam players of all abilities. It features former Bruin Bob Beers and is a tremendous benefit for players looking for defensemen specific training. It is run Monday through Friday at the Superskills Rink in Tewksbury and includes a daily schedule of 2 hours of on ice training and two hours of off-ice speed, quickness and agility training.
* There is also a Defense Clinic for high school players as well.
Superskills All-Girls Camp: This camp is for Mite through High School players of all abilities. Girls of all ages benefit from training with their peers in a fun and energized environment. It is run Monday through Friday at the Superskills Rink in Tewksbury and includes a daily schedule of 2 hours of on-ice training and two hours of off-ice speed, quickness and agility training.
Superskills Super Camp: This camp is a stay-over camp held at St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH. There are two groups at this camp for (95-94-93) and 92-91-90) players. This is a combination of Superskills Total Skills and Superskills Powerskating and is run Sunday through Friday and consists of on and off-ice training and well as lectures and group activities.
Superskills Checking Camp: This camp is for players of all abilities in the 95 and 96 birth years. Players learn the proper fundamentals of giving and receiving checks and build confidence through a structured progression of drills. It is run Monday through Friday at the Superskills Rink in Tewksbury and includes a daily schedule of 90 minutes of on-ice training and 90 minutes of off-ice speed, quickness and agility training.

Superskills HI (Hockey Intervention) Program: This program is geared for high school/prep/junior players that are committed to a summer of training. The program runs Monday through Friday for eight weeks and consists of four weekly off-ice sessions and three weekly on ice sessions.

Superskills Hockey hosts spring and summer 3 on 3 leagues at the Superskills Rink in Tewksbury, MA as well as a traditional summer leagues. Boards are placed at center-ice to create two distinct sheets of ice and players benefit from fast action and plenty of time handling the puck.
