The 2008 Merrimack Valley Cup Sponsorship Opportunities
Breakaway Ice Center proudly announces the third annual Merrimack Valley Cup. The weekend tournament series provides fun, excitement, and highly competitive hockey as well as a showcase of the best hockey talent available in the Merrimack Valley and surrounding areas. Each team at each level represents the best players from their respective town regardless of where they play during the hockey season. A Merrimack Valley Cup is presented to the winner of each level and at the completion of the
series one town will be named Merrimack Valley Cup Champions. Not only will one of the participating towns win the Merrimack Valley Cup on the ice, but one of these programs will win the fundraising segment of the tournament as well. Each town has their own charity and a tally for money raised during the tournament will be kept and a winner declared at the end of the tournament. Fundraising will be accomplished through sponsorship and raffle items and %100 of contributions will go directly to charity.
Sponsor the MVC
This year the MVC directors have chosen to raise funds in these 3 ways:
1. One large, flat screen HDTV will be raffled off at the end of the MVC tournament (June 26). Tickets will be sold for $10 each during all the weekend tournaments. All profits from the sale of the TV will be divided among the 12 Charities.
2. Submit a business card and it will be put into the tournament program book for the entire tournament for $50.
3. Sponsor your team for $10 and write a message for the tournament program book for the level of your choice.
